The situation in the School of Medicine ranges from alarming to concerning, depending on your perspective. The situation in Pediatrics has been unsettled and is unsettling. If you have been following the matter, you should know that there is a possibility that a substantial number of our clinical faculty members may move to another medical school.
I went to a meeting of the University Physicians (the faculty practice plan) and I thought that our bargaining unit members might profit from my observations on the meeting and its implications. My report is attached.
